Simple Prayers

When there's no time:

•  "Pain go away in Jesus name." 

• "Body be healed in Jesus name.

• "Body, be healed in Jesus name! Jesus bore this pain, sickness, and suffering, so ______ doesn't have to. All sickness leave in Jesus name!"

 


If you have more time or desire to minister to the person a little (someone you are close to, or someone you have been asked to pray for, or someone who knows you are going to pray for them, etc.) you can tell them a short blurb about why you think it is worthwhile to pray for healing.  (They'll assume you're going to pray like everyone else does, and most people will not refuse a prayer on their behalf.)

Some pre-prayer blurbs for others:

• I don't understand everything, but I am discovering that the same way Jesus died for our sins, taking our punishment, he also took our diseases. It is all through the bible and it's just amazing.

• All I know is God's grace is sufficient for every need, and right now, we just want you to have some relief. 

Pray:

Thank you Lord for your grace! You always give us according to Your Goodness, not our deserving. You gave us everything in Jesus, even if we have not understood it yet. Just like you removed her sins, you removed her diseases! That is Your Word. "Praise the Lord, O My Soul, and forget not all His benefits:  who forgives all our sins and who heals all our diseases!" (Psalm 103) All of this happened at the cross. Just like He took her sins upon Him as He bore my punishment, He took this very sickness upon His body willingly so she does not have to bear it!  This sickness was placed upon Jesus, so she does not have to bear it anymore! I declare her body free from this sickness. Everything bows to the Word of God, and the Word says that He bore her infirmities! So be it.  Body receive the grace of God which meets every need in every cell right now.  Nothing stops Your Word. It is incorruptible.  Thank you Lord! Amen!

That  same prayer for yourself!
