Says Who?

Most people believe that God chooses to heal based on his choice in the moment for his purposes. Sometimes 'what he is doing', they suggest, 'is healing, and sometimes not.', not understanding it as a finished work received by faith.  Yet even of those who believe that healing is offered through Christ's one time suffering, there are different teachings. Here you are learning from the third 'camp'--those who understand and teach that it is ALL by HIS grace, HIS goodness, nothing of ourselves...by believing what He said He did.

Tending Toward Legalism  These ministers will sometimes interpret (and teach) struggles to receive healing as being a deficiency on our part (sin in your life) and cause a condemning sin-focused introspection. (Are you tithing? Are you praying for others? etc.) Not good.  Jesus forgave sin at the same time that he was taking your sickness on the cross!

Some Charasmatic  Groups will often interpret (and teach) the lack of healing as being a result of a lack of anointing. They rely on a palpable presence of the holy spirit  which they believe God is sending or a person is 'tapping into' at that time in that place as the foundation on which healing can be expected or relied upon. Or it may be experienced/taught as a "wave" or "move" of God

******Grace Groups will  interpret (and teach) the lack of healing as being a result of our unrenewed mind which has trouble resting and believing in the good news of the finished work of healing!  Yet even this unrenewed mind is part of the "body of the flesh" which was circumcised in the regeneration of conversion, meaning, the flesh is instantly overcome by faith, because the truth is stronger than the lie.  And the lie does not exist... it is just covering up the truth like dust upon a door mat.  One blowing of the dust away, and the floor mat was unchangeably there all along!
